My Life, My Support is a process based on the ‘Just Enough Support’ process. ‘My Life, My Support’ means the optimum level of support that will increase the chances of people connecting with local people in their communities. In this section you can find tools to help improve the way that services can genuinely help people connect with their communities.
The concept around Just Enough Support (JES) has been around for several years. The principles are best described by Helen Sanderson & Steve Scown in their book ‘Making it Personal for Everyone’. Just Enough Support was developed by IAS and HSA, building on the work described in ‘All Together now’
